Our Real Estate journey began with a personal turning point. For years, like many professionals, we worked long hours, lived below our means, and diligently put money into savings, 401Ks, and the stock market. It felt safe; until the Great Recession. Watching our savings shrink by the day, even seeing a century-old company like General Motors collapse, left us questioning whether retirement would ever be secure. That was the moment everything changed.
While the markets tumbled, tenants kept paying their rent, and multifamily properties kept generating income. Seeing that contrast was eye-opening. Our first opportunity came in 2010 when we purchased our first 26-unit apartment building in Coral Gables, Florida. That first deal showed two powerful truths: real estate can reduce taxes and it can generate consistent, reliable cash flow. Before long, one property was helping pay for the next, and real estate became not just an investment, but a way of life.
In 2021, we sold our medical practice, and reinvested the proceeds into multifamily properties. That decision gave us freedom: lower taxes, stable income, and the ability to travel while building something bigger than ourselves. What began with a single property has now grown into a family-driven real estate platform focused on multifamily investments.
Today, The Blue Bay Group, integrates property management, asset management, and syndication. We’ve built a business around the lessons of that journey: protect capital, deliver steady returns, and always think long-term. We want to help investors achieve the same financial freedom we found through resilient, cash-flowing assets that create wealth for generations.
