Our first opportunity came in 2010 when we purchased our first 26-unit apartment building in Coral Gables, Florida. That first deal showed two powerful truths: real estate can reduce taxes and it can generate consistent, reliable cash flow. Before long, one property was helping pay for the next, and real estate became not just an investment, but a way of life.
In 2021, we sold our medical practice, and reinvested the proceeds into multifamily properties. That decision gave us freedom: lower taxes, stable income, and the ability to travel while building something bigger than ourselves. What began with a single property has now grown into a family-driven real estate platform focused on multifamily investments.
Today, The Blue Bay Group, integrates property management, asset management, and syndication. Many of our properties qualify as 1031 exchange replacement assets. This allows investors to roll their gains into a new deal and defer taxes through a like-kind exchange.
